PFC to Organise Interiors Pakistan Event in November

Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC), established in 2011 by famous furniture manufacturers and designers to promote furniture industry, is all set to organise 3rd Interiors Pakistan event in November. The event will be held at Tulip Hall, Club Road Islamabad from November 6 to 8.

According to an official advert of PFC, the 3-day event will be attended by more than 150,000 people and famous furniture brands from across the country will exhibit their products at the event.

“Interiors Pakistan is a holistic approach to putting on display the quality furniture being produced in Pakistan. We congratulate PFC for organising a grand event, which will synthesize furniture brands with furniture lovers under one roof,” said ApnaFurniture.pk CEO Shahzad Ali.

“The event will provide a grand opportunity to furniture manufacturers and designers to showcase their skills and dedication towards work and will also enable furniture lovers know the latest trends in Furniture.”

Diamond Foam will sponsor the event, while NM Furnishers, Vogue, Interwood, Index Furniture, Mohkam Furniture, Style & Comfort, National Furnishers, Offisys by Master, Wood Kastle, Furniture Kingdom, Heritage-I, Profine, Charag Din & Co, Unifoam, E’talage and ChenOne will exhibit at the event.

“The furniture industry of Pakistan has a vast potential to contribute massively to the national exchequer, however, the potential is somehow untapped. Furniture exports must be encouraged. PFC and the exhibitions organised by the council play an important role in strengthening furniture trade,” Ali added.

According to PFC CEO Mian Muhammad Kashif Ashfaq, who is also the CEO of ChenOne, the purpose of such exhibitions is to uphold Pakistan’s furniture industry to become a major player in international furniture trade.

Ashfaq, however, believes that the industry is still nascent and our furniture exports do not correspond with the capacity and skills of the manufacturers.

The PFC held its first two Interiors Pakistan events in Lahore in 2013 and 2014, both of which saw a massive footfall of visitors. This time the council has chosen Islamabad as the venue to mesmerise the denizens of the federal capital.
